Our parents, Ernest Coulson and Isabel MacNeill met in Ottawa Ontario and were married a few years later in 1947.  They were part of the Greatest Generation of the 20th century that fought and survived a major world war.  For

the next several decades, our parents raised a family of six children who were called the Baby Boomer Generation. Growing up we knew little about our family ancestors. The NOW part of this space highlights some of the memories we experienced as a family growing up in Ottawa and a special place called Silver Lake that we continue to enjoy with our own families.
