Our father's family tree shows five generations of Coulsons beginning with the first generation arriving from Ireland and settling in Barrie, Simcoe County, Ontario around 1836, which was part of Upper Canada at the time.  Ernest was born in 1923 and represented the 4th Generation of the Coulson family living in Canada.
